Still no garlic up

I've had sleepless nights worrying about the garlic, today I couldn't take it any more and so I dug up a clove to see what was going on. Much to my relief there were several thin rootlets coming from the bottom and so all is well, just slow. Not surprising really as the days a re certainly getting shorter and cooler.

Planted 14 florence fennel seedlings in the old patch and about 15 new white onions along the front of the current spring onion plants.
Put in two rows of carrot seeds and generally fertilised and composted things like the peas and silverbeet.
Have new seed trays of rainbow beet and broccoli.

The tender stalks broccoli that we are harvesting now is very nice!

The lemons are starting to yellow

A view with the new onions in the front, then silverbeet with new carrot bed on the left and peas behind
