Now into October and the garden is exploding with growth, shoots and buds and flowers and all. I have planted a couple of tomatoes already, a bit early but of course I couldn't resist.
One is a double grafted plant that will produce both red and yellow sweet 100 snack sized tomatoes. The other a potentate, heavy cropper, tasty flavour, tall, vigorous and great for cooking. We shall see (and taste)

Go the babies! |
I also planted a set of nice golden wax bean seeds and dug out a carrot pit and sifted all the soil to remove bits that would make the carrots divide and grow gnarly. These are some from the previous planting I took out as they were all a bit close together now, they are nicely formed.
