Boxing Day report

T'was a lovely Christmas at our house, perfect summer weather for eating and drinking in the garden!
Today I pulled up the first few garlic bulbs as we've just had the longest day and they look wonderful. Will have to have another plaiting session soon.

The long capsicums are really starting to get big, all the plants have developing peppers

Amy has made me a minion for Christmas, Nibbles the snail, he is happy to do all the dirty work I believe, we will see...

early summer

Everything is growing as you watch. The peas all went mildewy (as they do) so out with them and in with a bunch of climbing bean seedlings.
The peas we did get were really nice, the sugar snaps can be eaten raw pod and all.

Have enjoyed several zucchini already and the basil is trying to flower.

The tomato plants are astounding, growing so strong. I think keeping them to a flat space is a really good thing, makes it easy to pinch laterals and keep the plant healthy.

All the garlic is growing tall and looks nice and wild.

The plums are looking good
